Synopsis

In the future, androids known as Parents have gained popularity for their ability to perform a wide variety of tasks, including shopping and household chores. When Keiichirou Kuro finds an older model of a Parent in a junk pile, he feels compelled to take it home. With no memories of her previous owner and no ability to handle more than the most basic tasks, it is easy to imagine how the android—which he calls "Flower"—ended up being discarded. Despite this, he keeps Flower, and the two gradually form a bond over the span of a summer. With her model being so far out of date, however, it may only be a matter of time before she breaks down for good. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
